“Common Minimum Programme for qualitative improvement of primary education” has not last its focus in our School. The H.M. has been effectively supervising the teaching learning process being done in classrooms and a record to this effect is effectively being mentioned.

 Due to an extended vacation for primary children in the month of January because of cold wave a workshop for 3 days for teachers was conducted very effectively – the emphasis being on spoken English.

 Use of worksheets for continuous comprehensive evaluation of the primary children using Internet and other teaching learning resources is carefully monitored.

 Child friendly activities like film shows were conducted. The children were also taken for educational excursions to nearby places and they were encouraged to talk/speak about their experiences in the morning assembly.

 The children of classes III-IV were encouraged to write down their experiences of the excursion in their notebooks.

 More of such educational excursions and tours if organized help the children get practical exposure to things and once visually it is observed it remains with them allthrough and also it becomes easy for them to speak about it and pen it down.
